Jenson Button of the McLaren team secured a historic victory at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal on Sunday, June 12, 2011, triumphing over an incident-filled 2011 Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix. The race stands as the longest in Formula One history, with a record-breaking 4 hours and 4 minutes of racing.

Button's victory marked his first of the 2011 season and the 10th of his career. He showcased exceptional skill and determination throughout the race, battling through several safety car periods and holding off a late charge from Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull Racing.

Lewis Hamilton of McLaren completed the podium in third place, solidifying McLaren's dominance in the race. Felipe Massa of Ferrari finished fourth, ahead of Mark Webber of Red Bull Racing in fifth. The race witnessed several thrilling moments, including a heavy crash involving Nico Rosberg of Mercedes GP and Jaime Alguersuari of Toro Rosso.
