A devastating tornado outbreak in Oklahoma has left at least four people dead, including an infant. The tornadoes, which touched down overnight, have left a path of destruction through several communities, including the cities of Barnsdall and Bartlesville.
One of the tornadoes tore through the city of Barnsdall, ripping apart homes and downing power lines. Officials say that emergency crews are still searching through the wreckage, and the death toll could rise.
Another tornado touched down near the city of Bartlesville, causing significant damage to homes and businesses. Officials say that at least one person was killed in this tornado.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for much of Oklahoma, as well as parts of Kansas, Arkansas, and Missouri. Forecasters say that additional tornadoes are possible throughout the day.
Residents in the affected areas are urged to stay indoors and to monitor local weather reports. If you see a tornado, take cover immediately in a basement or storm shelter.
